Torah From Zion

The Subject of Chalipin (Exchange) – Part 9

January 9th, 2024 / 9th of Teiveis, 5785

The Rosh Yeshiva’s second weekly Talmud B’Iyun (In-Depth) Shiur Klali on the sugiya (subject) of Chalipin (Exchange), Maseches Kiddushin (part 9 in the whole, daily series), which ties together and concludes the learning on the sugiya for the week.

For nearly 60 years, Diaspora Yeshiva has been uplifting Jewish men seeking to return to their Jewish heritage in accordance with the teachings of the Sages of Israel, believing in and cultivating the potential of every student not only to return to HaShem and His Ways but to even become Torah Scholars and leaders of the Jewish people.

Talmud B’Iyun according to sugiya is how Torah scholars come to a deep understanding of the central subjects of the Talmud and related halachos, i.e., how we live out the Torah of HaShem.

For more thorough learning on the subject and better retention, work on the sugiya with us daily in person or virtually throughout the week, most days at 9 a.m. Israel time on our YouTube channel. For Jewish men 18-35, we have classes onsite for different levels of learning—beginner, intermediate, and advanced, currently in English, Hebrew, and Spanish.
