Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael | Mount Zion, Jerusalem
Rav Shlomoh Zalman Miller grew up in Har Nof, Jerusalem in a religious family, being a student of the Israeli yeshiva system, having learned in Yeshivas Or Elchanan and Shaar HaTorah in Ashdod, and subsequently in a few kollelim. He now lives in Beit Shemesh with his wife and daughter.
Rav Shlomoh Zalman has always been a curious student, with a love for learning all manner of Torah subjects, and he likewise loves to teach—especially on Mount Zion, he says, ‘For from Tzion will go forth the Torah, and HaShem’s Word from Jerusalem.’
Rav Shlomoh Zalman has been giving a Daf Yomi shiur by phone for a few years, is a published writer, and has also been teaching Gemara, Halachah (Jewish Law), and Machshavah (Jewish Thought) in Hebrew and English at Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael for the past two years.
Rav Shlomoh Zalman’s humble, relatable demeanor, ever welcoming interruptions with questions, makes him a very endearing member of the staff, well-liked by the students and staff of Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael alike.
