The Rosh Yeshiva discusses the question of how the Jewish people merited to be redeemed from Mitzrayim (Egypt) in spite of the fact that they were sinners. There were two groups among them, one of which HaShem listened to because of how they approached Him, the pivotal point that caused HaShem to decide the time had come to redeem them. This serves as an important lesson about what we must do in order for HaShem to send Mashiach (the Messiah) and to bring about the Final Geulah (Redemption), which will be greater than Yetzias Mitzrayim (the Exodus).
