The Foundation of the Holiness of a Jewish Man, His Bris Milah

October 27th, 2025 / 5th of Cheshvan, 5786

The Rosh Yeshiva discusses the mitzvah (commandment) of bris milah (“circumcision”), which HaShem commanded for Avraham Avinu (our forefather Abraham) and his children, foundational to the holiness of a Jewish man and one of two factors in HaShem giving the Jewish people the Holy Land, the importance of guarding the bris, consequences for violating this covenant, by wasting seed and/or forbidden relations with a non-Jewish woman, and also what the partial bris milah performed by the Children of Yishmael means for the rights of the Arab people in the Holy Land, who are guaranteed to return to HaShem in the end of days.
