Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael | Mount Zion, Jerusalem
January 28th, 2025 / 128th of Teiveis, 5785
The Rosh Yeshiva speaks about the greatness of HaShem’s mercy in accepting teshuva (repentance) until “dichucha shel nefesh” (the flickering of the soul, i.e., before death) as related in Chagigah 2:1 (Talmud Yerushalmi) on Tehillim (Psalms) 90:3, which says, ‘Tesheiv enosh ad daka,’ as well as related considerations, and in the light of the events involving Paroh (Pharaoh) in Seifer Shemos (the Book of Exodus).
