Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael | Mount Zion, Jerusalem
August 1st, 2024 / 26th of Tammuz, 5784
Part 3 of our sugiya (subject), Yayin Mevushal (Cooked Wine), Maseches (Tractate) Avodah Zarah, B’Iyun (In-Depth).
Talmud B’Iyun (learning Talmud in-depth) according to sugiya is how Torah scholars come to a deep understanding of the subject and related halachah, i.e., how we live out the Torah of HaShem.
This weekly shiur klali by the Rosh Yeshiva, HaRav Yitzchak Goldstein, Shlit”a, every Yom Chamishi (Thursday), concludes our learning on the part of the sugiya we are learning throughout the week.
For more thorough learning on the subject and better retention, come and work on the sugiya with us throughout the week. We have different classes for different levels of learning—beginner, intermediate, and advanced, currently in English, Hebrew, and Spanish.
You may also contact us about tuning in remotely via Zoom and for the related handouts.
